Good cuisine from Brianza lands in England. The project “Ambassadors of Taste” was presented last December at Olivetti High School in Monza. This plan involved twelve students from the 4th and 5th years.

“Lüganega”, “cassoeula”, “pulenta de pomm de tera” and “pan tranvai” were served at the Centre for Cultural Studies in London, upon proposal of the Foreign Ministry.

After two intense weeks of work and study of the English language, a number of students and teachers left for two weeks for London, where they became proper waiters and chefs de cuisine with the important job of receiving the guests at the Centre as well as suggesting typical assorted dishes from Brianza. The tasting party was very successful.

The Councillor of Tourism for Monza and Brianza said that, despite the lack of money, the initiative had been supported immediately, not only because it was a great chance for the students to get a work experience, fundamental for their future, but it was also a way to promote Italy and Monza outside our country.
